Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader – Void Shadows DLC is Out on August 8th

The recent Warhammer Skulls 2024 event revealed that Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is poised to expand its universe with the first paid DLC, "Void Shadows," scheduled for release on August 8. This expansion unveils a captivating storyline featuring a new companion, the Death Cult assassin Kibellah, amid the ominous machinations of the Genestealer Cult on the player’s vessel. These foes are plotting to coerce the ship's crew to serve their malevolent purposes.

As the plot unfolds, players have to thwart these sinister plans and may also find an opportunity to develop a romantic storyline with Kibellah. "Void Shadows" is set to deliver around 15 hours of additional gameplay. It enriches the game with new lore, quests, and equipment. Players will also enjoy the opportunity to enlist new crew members and venture into unexplored areas.

Unlike some previous expansions by Owlcat Games, "Void Shadows" is seamlessly integrated into the main campaign, offering a coherent continuation rather than requiring a separate game start. This DLC is accessible through the Season Pass or available for individual purchase.
